Lets Encourage Green Collar Workers.

23 October 2008

Hello Friends,
Employment sectors are distinctively categorized based on colors and we are all familiar with white and blue colors in them. Yes, the white and blue collared jobs were classified to know the employment strategy. White collar employment comprises paid professionals and office workers. Blue collar employment includes manual labor. Now a third sector is emerging and evolving in both esteem and support. It is the 'Green Collar Job'.

Green collar workers are employed to develop and maintain products and services that are environment-friendly. As we know, an organization that inquires maturity factors upon the environment is considered “green”; and if it occupies individuals to that affect, then it is certainly considered as green collar jobs. As far as Indian Economy is concerned, Agriculture is its backbone and it has all the support to evolve a Green collar community. I would certainly say that Indian Economy and even this World depends on Green collar jobs which further include any that involve the plans, manufacture, fix, functions and persistence of renewable energy and its efficiency tools. Now days beside Global warming and revenue problems, topics related to green collar economy is debated at the federal level.

Soon, we all can expect Green Collar Revolution that fixes so many bugs in and around the world.

"Life in Mars is Possible", Scientists Pronounced

12 August 2008

Scientists are confirming the fact that humans can survive on Mars and they also have clear proofs for the above statement in their successful research, that turned out in the Red planet.

Wickramasinghe, a globally-esteemed astrobiologist, briefed that like our planet Earth, Liquid Water combined with organic substances is found in enormous there and the meteorite that came from Mars are illustrating those facts, adding to it, the methane content in Martian atmosphere points out clearly that Contemporary Life is possible in mars since the corresponding research verifies them. He is also a leading advocate of a theory known as Panspermia, which suggests that all planets have been seeded for life by microbes from outer space and is thought to be a minority-view among scientists. Even in the media interview he said, that the discovery of subsurface water ice in the north polar regions of Mars - announced July 31 by US scientists - combined with earlier developments leads him to believe there is life on Mars.

But certainly this news was hidden to public which led to the confusion as many scientist conclude by saying that the American authorities are dithering from announcing it, mainly due to some political reasons.

Sarees obliquely pushes Women to jail in Nigeria Interesting..!!

11 August 2008

Saris are the most widely used traditional attires for women in India. But the Nigerian Government passed a bill elucidating that womens who are exposing their midriffs in their traditional saris will be found foul and offensive. Also the Tourists in towelling wraps and Nigerian women in traditional dress with their stomachs exposed could be pushed themselves behind bars for three months or subjected to fines of $100.

This Order was passed by the senator, Eme Ufot Ekaette, who felt that nudity was driving men to engage in corruption and steal from the state in Nigeria. According to them, scantily dressed women were luring men. In turn they increase corruption and steal precious fortunes to spend for those woman by building colossal home for them in London, Rome and New York. They are being misled every time by a naked woman. Ishaq Akintola, a strong supporter of Akaette's from the Muslim Rights watch, strongly says "Nudity leads to corruption". Even the Police were supporting the law by maltreating women regularly by testing whether their body was exposed lower than two inches above the neck or more than two inches above the knee.

The Woman's Rights Groups strongly opposed the proposed law by calling it as "laughable". But they are very much worried with the Nigerian Government on their creepy thoughts. They also added by saying, Due to some seductive women's illegal activity the government must not rely pressure on the whole female community which may certainly stimulate a turn-on some women resulting in more pressing issues in the country, such as female circumcision, the high infant mortality rate and rape of babies etc.

This May be quite Funny to read but actually a serious issue in the state of Nigeria, and i also suggest this to our government..
Hilarious...!!

counter420 opens T20 Cricket in Newyork

07 August 2008

hi Friends,

Its been a new spread recently, that the New York police (NYPD) are off from their work in turn organizing a twenty20 cricket league, in order to build good relationship among the people from various disciplines and from different ethnic groups.

Players from Guyanese Indian origin, Muslim descendant of Pakistani and Bangladeshi, will play twice weekly till August end in the Twenty20 Cricket Cup held at Brooklyn's Gateway Cricket Ground. The entire league was planned well and successfully launched by the cops.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly during his coin toss session says, that the New York today is turning to be the home field for new immigrant and American-born players alike, many of whom excel at sports that local leagues don't traditionally offer. and with the support of them, young enthusiasts from Bangladesh to Brooklyn now can be expected to play there. The NYPD has long provided programmes for youth while promoting positive police-community relations. And certainly the Twenty20 Cricket Cup has proved to be the same. An earlier attempt was already made with a soccer league held on may which came out with a huge delightful response among the crowd and this was the second.

And they expect that this social pro gramme of T20 cricket will record a good response and reach the target audience more than that of the former.

LEGO celebrating its 50

28 July 2008

LEGO is an International toy manufacturing company and it is now celebrating its 50th year of building frenzy by happy kids and kids-at-heart, basically "LEGO" Blocks are the tiny plastics building toys that apparently reminds my childhood days where i spent most of the time with that in building innovations. It not only improves our creativity but also exposes weird curiosities in every kids mind with ensured standards.

On the note of its Golden jubilee Celebration, Legoland Windsor was all set to a new world record for the tallest tower made of Lego bricks. Thousands of children and their families helped put the final bricks in place to complete the monster structure, which stands nearly 100ft tall. The tower was positioned at the main entrance of the park with the shape resembling a Viking longboat mast. It is also marked as the opening at the Berkshire theme park as "new land of the Viking". Almost half a million (500,000) bricks were used by thousands of people especially children to get this massive work done.

"We are thrilled to bring the World Record to Legoland Windsor after four days of hard work, not to mention nearly 500,000 bricks, and it now stands at nearly 100ft. It has been a great way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Lego bricks.", says Mr. Penny Jenkins, the Park's special events manager.

This massive Lego Tower of 29.26m (100 feet) tall was awaited for its official verification by Guinness World Records to redeem its previous one at Toronto in August 2007.

Lets Solve Global Warming !!

17 June 2008

Nature's Disaster to be unveiled

Hi friends its the time to put global warming solutions into place and we can't wait any longer. Scientists say we need to turn the corner on global warming within 10 years to prevent very dangerous impacts from becoming inevitable. Each year that passes without tackling global warming head-on makes the problem more difficult and expensive to solve.

But at the same time, global warming has finally gotten our attention -- Americans are increasingly aware that a warming climate is a real threat to our way of life, and that we have a choice about how bad it will get.

The choice lies here: $16 trillion dollars will be invested in energy development over the next two decades. Will it be poured into polluting, obsolescent technologies that will bring on the worst of global warming? Or will these investments be shifted into to advanced, low-polluting technologies that will create the new energy economy that's needed to shut down global warming?

It's up to all of us to increase the heat on our elected officials: we need the right policies -- and we need them now -- to ensure that the technologies described here are deployed on the scale and timeframe that is needed to achieve deep reductions in global warming pollution by mid-century.

1. Boost Energy Efficiency

The cheapest and fastest way to cut global warming pollution is to make things that use electricity -- like appliances, industrial equipment and buildings -- more energy-efficient. We know this works -- most of us have bought an Energy Star appliance or two, and have seen firsthand how much money and energy they can save. But there's still much room for improvement, and we must continue to push for products that waste less energy. Likewise, "green building" design and construction can dramatically reduce the enormous amounts of energy that buildings consume in heating, cooling, lighting and water use.

2. Better Cars and Smart Growth

Our gasoline-burning cars are the second-largest source of U.S. global warming pollution. But Americans will put more than 300 million new cars on the road over the next 20 years -- if these cars are the best, most efficient vehicles Detroit can make, we'll take a big step toward solving global warming.

Using hybrid engines and other ready-to-go technologies in today's cars could nearly double the mileage they'd get from a gallon of gas, saving a lot of money at the pump. By 2050, fuel-cell technologies and other advancements could boost efficiency to 54 miles per gallon.

We can curb our appetite for oil even further by adopting "smart growth" principles in our cities and towns, encouraging developers to build compact, walkable communities that allow people to spend less time behind the wheel.

3. Biofuels and Renewable Energy

Business-friendly, cost-competitive and ready to meet a significant portion of America's energy needs, renewable energy has gone mainstream. Wind power is the fastest growing form of electricity generation in the United States, expanding at an average annual rate of more than 20 percent. Solar energy employs more than 20,000 Americans in high-tech, high-paying jobs. And clean-burning biofuels made from plants show great promise as a replacement for gasoline -- ethanol producers already make 4 billion gallons of fuel a year, and new methods for making ethanol from farm wastes or energy crops could compete with oil on a very large scale in addition to providing extra income for farmers. By 2050, renewable energy and biofuels could meet a significant chunk of our energy needs.

4. Return Carbon to the Ground

Coal is the most carbon-intense of fossil fuels. Reducing use of coal through energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies will be the cornerstones of the solution to global warming, but the plain truth is that hundreds of new coal-fired power plants will probably be constructed around the world in coming years. Coal generates more than half of the electricity we use today, and it is in plentiful supply in such countries as China, India and the United States.

A critical choice remains. Power plants have a long lifespan -- build the new coal plants with dirty, 19th-century technologies and we lock ourselves into high levels of global warming pollution for decades. We can instead choose a 21st-century alternative: Using existing technologies -- each in commercial operation today -- we can convert coal into a clean-burning gas and capture and dispose of the carbon dioxide deep underground, dramatically reducing air pollution from this dirtiest of fuels. If the United States doesn't invest in this technology, neither will China, India and other countries with large coal supplies.
